rob the fly hunter

Sorry I haven't written in a while. Everything went great with anthony's procedure. His tounge clipping was however very scary. They gave him a massive amount of codeine syrup. Made him really drowsy. Then they put numbing solution on the bottom of his tounge. Then they gave him a shot because the codeine wasn't putting him out enough. Then they covered his eyes so he would not see the tools used to clip it. Then they clipped it. He was drooling blood for like a whole hour. Then he was fine no fusisng that day after or the next day either! Then the next day came.. . . . . .
It seems that it is worse in pain when it is almost done healing.
He cried for like 5 hours today holding his chin, and trying to play with his toungue.
We just gave up on trying to feed him dinner, and sat down a massive bowl of jello jigglers in front of him.
He happily ate them all up!
Whew!
One more day in the healing process down!
We can't wait until it heals, because then we ccan really start trying to teach him how to talk.
T.E.I.S. came out and did an ealuation on him.
Out of 5 areas, Adaptive, cognitive, motor, communication, and something else skills. He passed with flying colors. The only part he failed was the part of saying the actual words. He just don't wanna talk!

Oh well I guess he will one day.
He has an E.N.T. apt. on the 15th. (ear nose and throat specialist)
They are going to evaluate his hearing to try to figure out if he has bad hearing and that is why he is not wanting to talk.

ANd hopefully after they figure that out everything will be fine and dandy!

Hopefully..........

PEACE!
